This photograph shows some bicyclists making their way down Broad Street (now Broadway Avenue). The one storey brick building on the right is the residence of the manager of the Bank of Australasia. This is the current site of the Australasian Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd (T&G) building. On the corner of The Square is the brick Bank of Australasia, now occupied by ANZ Bank. On the right of the photo is part of the premises of Collinson and Sons and Collinson and Cunninghame Ltd. These businesses closed in the 1970s, but their premises still stand [2014].
