This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 21 July 1961 "Three gold medal award winning models, showing the high fashion, elegant, and versatile qualities of wool fibre, seen at the social event concluding the recent Massey College Wool Association conference, by the Wool Board. On the left is Judy in a vibrant red evening coat of hand-ruched wool covering a slim sheath woolen gown with a graceful train ; Sue (centre) wears the striking greatcoat of mushroom wool with big black overhooks, completely water repellent, cut with extra fullness, pleated onto the yoke and deep wide sleeves. The only seam is under the sleeves. Diane's ankle length gown is in a pale lilac with the box-pleated skirt trimmed with bunches of violets and matching ribbon. The strapless top is accented by sleeve bands of velvet and violets. Over it she is wearing this dramatic evening coat in deep vibrant purple fully lined with satin."
