On the 13th of May, 2023, InsideOUT ran a zine-making workshop with local rangatahi at Te Manawa in Palmerston North.
During this popular event, rangatahi heard from three local artists - Ally Edwards, Melsa Davies, and Serena Deane who each gave presentations about their art, and the zine and comic making process. After these presentations, the rangatahi had two hours to have a go at making their own zines. At the end of the workshop, there was a small zine fest where the young people could display their creations.
