Mural of Jack Register, artist, painted on board and fixed to a corner of the city library wall by Moxies cafe, a favourite haunt of the late artist.

The mural was painted by Colin Hoare, artist and friend of Register, after Register died aged 82 in 2018.

Jack Register was a landscape artist who spent more than 40 years painting, with much of his work based on landscapes of Manawatū, Horowhenua and Rangitīkei.
