More Info →- Description
-
These concrete benches were removed to make-way for the redevelopment of the former Teaching College / Massey Hokowhitu Campus' playing fields. Many of the felled trees were piled together and burned.
The plaque on the top bench reads:
"The trees planted to link the campus school with the college were the gift of the Wanganui Education Board September 1972"
Part of the Manukura school can be seen in the background.
