A Laing was the proprietor of the Family and Commercial Hotel Stables in Birmingham, later renamed Kimbolton. The UAOD (United Ancient Order of Druids) Hall is located in the same building with a separate entrance to the upstairs rooms. Edwin Sandeman (Solicitor) and a branch of the Bank of New Zealand are located downstairs.
