Description

The Manawatu Prize for Contemporary Art was organized annually by the Palmerston North Art Gallery (later known as the Manawatu Art Gallery). This booklet lists the organisations and individuals who provided sponsorship for the prize, along with the 24 works exhibited and a price list. The judge was Hamish Keith, who awarded the prize to Patrick Hanly for his work, In The Past.
