This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 19 June 1958, page 8: "A temporary round-about has been installed at the intersection of Albert and Church Streets. The intersection has been the scene of a number of collisions and the round-about has been installed as an experiment. A similar experiment will be carried out at the intersection of Church and Princess Streets"
