This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 02 November 1960 "Mrs. T.H. Knowles, whose husband is the part-owner and trainer of the Melbourne Cup winner, Hi-Jinks, has had scarcely a moment in which to stop and think since the mare's brilliant success. It is all like a dream," says Mrs. Knowles, as she waits for her most exciting call - the one from her husband in Australia."
