Primitive Methodist Church, Severn Street, Rongotea
- Description
The Primitive Methodist Church was the first church in Rongotea. The church was built and opened in 1881, the preacher at that time being the Rev T Sadler of Feilding. It was known as the pill box. Later it was enlarged to a T-shape, and was then known as the coffee pot.
