This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 23 October, 1959. "Since the inauguration of the school for youngsters by Mrs F. S. Keys at the Manawatu Club's courts, there has been a steady increase in the interest of youth in the city in lawn tennis. So much so that it has been necessary to call for assistance in the training of the youngsters in the rudiments of the game. Mrs Keys is seen here explaining a point to the children."
