Description

This series of card index files showing the titles and file contents for the 1/5/5 Subject Series in the Ian Matheson City Archives. These index cards are arranged in alphabetical order under a wide-variety of subject headings and contain many cross-references.

This card index was the principal finding aid in use y the Records staff of the Town Clerks Department from 1971 to 1974, when it was replaced by the printed lists produced via word processor (see PNCC Series 1/7/5). This index relates only to those files in current use between 1971 and 1984. Files which were non-current in 1971 are not included.
