Helicopter Stringing Out a Load of Pipes for the Duplication of Himatangi - Palmerston North Gas Line

Description

This photograph comes with the caption, "The pipeline will go from Himatangi to Longburn and then to Palmerston North where it will connect with the Feilding line at Setters Line, Milson. The 15 cm pipes of the duplication line will be laid parallel to and approximately 4 metres away from the existing 80 mm nominal bore pipe-line from Himatangi. Here the pipes are strung out adjacent to Milson Line."
