This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 01 May 1958, page 10: "Showing keen interest in this corn crusher, one of the many items of farm machinery which were put up for auction at the Showgrounds today, prospective buyers are seen examining the machine. In this photograph Mr. A.H. Smith stands in the background whilst his son, Mr. H.B. Smith (centre) explains the more intricate workings of the crusher to his brother, Mr. G.H. Smith."
