Too Cold and Far Too Windy
- Description
This image was taken (but not used) for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 29th December 1965 "Gale force winds greeted these three Brisbane Scoutmasters at Wellington on Sunday night and have accompanied them throughout the lower half of the North Island since then. Clutching their hats are (from the left) Brian Dunstan, Howard Briggs and Raymond Hughes. The trio were hitch-hiking from Wellington to New Plymouth to see Mt. Egmont before attending the New Zealand Scout jamboree at Trentham."
