The subject of this paper is the four-company organization recently adopted for the infantry of the Regular Army, and which will shortly be also adopted for the Territorial Force. Originally this article was given as a lecture to the London Units of the Territorial Force, by Brevet-Major Hereward Wake, King's Royal Rifles.
