Description

The national women's netball tournament was held at the Puriri Netball Centre in Palmerston North in August 1971. The Netball Centre and surrounding area was renamed Vautier Park in 1976 after Catherine Vautier who had a lifetime involvement with basketball (as netball was called until 1970).
