This house at 490 Church Street, which was built c.1900, burned down during the evening 12th of April 2020 - during the alert level 4 lockdown of the Covid19 outbreak. News reports say it is being treated as suspicious, as a man was seen running from the house.
The house lay abandoned for sometime (it was bought in late 2019 so likely since then), and had smashed-out windows since early 2020. A similar house was positioned at 492 (the vacant lot to the left) but was removed late 2019/ early 2020.
Another house at 516 Church St also burned down in March 2020.
