On 12 June 1961, Mr C M A Kebbell's two-storey home near Ashhurst was badly damaged by fire. Furniture and other personal effects were retrieved from the house by neighbours and firefighters, until the strengh of the fire became too severe.
This image is derived from a copy negative made from a photograph that was loaned for copying. The original photographic print is not held by the Ian Matheson City Archives.
