"The Wattles", Linton Street

Description

This house was built by William Park in 1887. Mr Park was a stationer in Palmerston North, and also served as a Councillor and Mayor. It was later lived in by another Mayor of the city, Mr F J Nathan. This view of the house shows the side of the house fronting Linton Street. This photograph shows the house being demolished in 1967. It was replaced by single storey apartments.
