Rangiotu Memorial, in front of old Rangiotu Memorial Hall.

The memorial is a three stepped granite obelisk set on a two step concrete block. 2300 men were stationed at Rangiotu during WWI from the 3rd and 4th battalions of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade. The memorial was originally cited next to the old Post Office building on a hill before being re-located after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake on 20 January 2014 toppled the peak of the monument.
