Description

‘Killed in Action’, a pamphlet written by Rutherford Waddell M.A., D.D. Published 1919.

A religious tract, which considers the question of whether a soldier "killed in action" will be saved, regardless of a lack of Christian faith. The booklet originally appeared as articles in the Dunedin Evening Star.

The Reverend Rutherford Waddell was a cousin of Margaretta Macauley. The name S (Sara) T Aitcheson is handwritten on the cover of the booklet. Sara, nee Macauley, was married to Campbell Aitchison by the Rev. Waddell, in 1922.
