This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 22 November 1960 "Presented to the Fitzherbert School by the chairman and members of the Kairanga County Council during the school's annual calf club day was a pictorial record of New Zealand. Mr. W.J. Hutchinson, a member of the council, who made the presentation yesterday, is seen giving a first look to the cup and shield winners of the school. From the left are: Clifford Spall (points cup over the whole day and dairy type) ; Mr. Hutchinson., Anne Kininmont (care and attention shield), and Peter Allomes (first place with his garden plot)."
