In November 1975 Mr G. H. Corrick was awarded the M.B.E. for services to local government and the community. He was in his 15th year with the Feilding Borough Council, having been mayor since 1968. He is a member of the Manawatu Branch of the Wellington Manufacturers Association and is the Feilding Representative on the Manawatu Regional Development Council. He is also Feilding Trustee of the Eastern and Central Savings Bank and an executive member of the no.9a District Roads Council. Mr Corrick is a company manager.
