This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 29 August 1960 "At the weekend, 150 members of the Field Ambulance, New Zealand Medical Corps, overseas and attached transport units of the 1914-18 War gathered in Palmerston North for a reunion. On Saturday evening a social was held in the Returned Services Association's clubrooms. This photograph shows five of the members. They are (from left): Messrs A.J. Olsen (Pahiatua), W. Inkpen (Palmerston North), S. Skinner (Woodville), H. Moran (Christchurch) and W.T. Brown (Pahiatua)."
