Description

An unidentified group of Central Normal School pupils. Central Normal began as Palmerston North's first school in 1872, in Princess Street. It shifted to become Campbell Street School in 1890. When it was outgrown a new school was opened in Featherston Street in 1921 and became known as Central Normal School.
