This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 09 May 1961 "Many hundreds more spectators than have visited the Palmerston North Industries Fair at any one time packed Broadway footpaths this afternoon to see a free show. It was Lohtas, father and son, who had exchanged their high-swaying tower at the Fair for the roof of Garners Department Store. Their gymnastic and balancing feats caused many a neck to stretch hard upwards, and eyes to goggle."
