This image was published in the August 20th 1978 edition of the Tribune weekly newspaper with the caption: “Sue Wilson (left) and Julia Sutherland with VSA's raffle tickets, information about VSA - and a book written by VSA's first selection officer, Keren Clark. The authoress was a founder member of the community volunteers’ network in New Zealand, and the movement's first chairman. She also promoted the student graduates volunteer scheme, involving New Zealand, Australia and the United States in the 1950's and 60's - it was the fore-runner of VSA. The book is entitled "The Two Way Street", and is now on sale.”
