This building, built for Barraud and Abraham, in the 1950s, fronted Taonui Street, but was part of a large complex extending between Rangitikei and Taonui Streets. Barraud and Abraham Ltd was originally an agricultural and pastoral company, who later expanded its range of goods. The complex was demolished in 1993.
