This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 12 August, 1959. "The 6ft 5in giant English lock and line-out specialist H. W. D. Marques gives the impression that he is not at all pleased that W. H. E. Hearn has stolen the ball from him during this throw-in in the international match at the showgrounds. Hearn doubles up under the pressure being applied by Marques and Mulcahy (wearing head band)." Other photos associated with this article were published in mid August.
