Description

The joint strike by primary and secondary school teachers was the largest ever industrial action by New Zealand teachers. Almost 50,000 members across the two unions - NZEI Te Riu Roa and the Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA) - left classrooms to protest the Government's collective contract offer.
