"On Wednesday afternoon there are few lectures for the Massey Women students and they have opportunity to complete their own personal chores. Above are some busy reading, studying or writing letters home. They are (from the left): Back, Misses Jenny Abernethy (Whatawhata, Hamilton), Sue Constance (Feilding), Jennifer Kirkman and Beverly Dawson (both just arrived from Salisbury, Rhodesia), M. Smitananda and P. Chittaporn (both from Thailand); seated, Misses Barbara-Jean Findlay (Pahiatua) and Ilfra McNeill (Hastings).
