This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 30th December 1965 "At about 2 p.m., a section of the roof of the Humber Street Park pavilion was torn off by a heavy gust. Carpenters called to repair the damage had to wait until the wind dropped before venturing on to the roof."
