Description

The brass band of the Salvation Army in their citadel in Broadway, Palmerston North. Blood and Fire is one of the mottoes of the Salvation Army internationally. Note also the insignia the members wear on their collars. The Salvation Army established themselves in Palmerston North in 1884.
