The woman on the left is Vera Cox, who later married John Boman. The woman on the right is unidentified.
The residence is the home of Mr and Mrs A K Drew. Alfred Kingsley Drew (c.1882-1953) married Elsie Gordon Flyger in April 1908. He served as County Clerk for the Manawatū County Council for 43 years, until his retirement in 1950. Their house, Brooklynne, is located at 8 Farmer Street, Sanson.
