Description

Leslie Francis Davis (1900-1985) was the son of James and Harriet Davis, then living in Palmerston North. Les was 'an outdoors man', and keen on hunting and fishing. He worked as a shepherd in Merriwee at Clive as a teenager, and also as a scrub cutter and rabbiter with his brother Ernest (Ernie). He later married Queenie Victoria Watson.
