Description

The house across the creek was built by Frank Arbon (a retired sea captain). As the road ended at Digger's Creek Mr Arbon had to cross the creek to access his house. The County Council built an access road when Arbon refused to pay his rates. Arbon had the first car in Pohangina Valley.
