New Zealand branded 'Fernleaf' butter from Rongotea, outside the cooling chambers at the Rongotea butter factory. A hand written caption on the original print reads: “Rongotea Superfine Butter – outside the cool chambers. Butte packed in clean new boxes ready for distribution and boxes ready for packing lined with best quality pure vegetable parchment paper”. Rongotea Co-op Diary Co Ltd was established in 1895.
