This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 6 January, 1959. "Members of the Boys' Brigade came to Palmerston North yesterday from their holiday camp at Foxton. They were told about the floral display in the Square by the Clock Tower. Here are seen A.M. Patterson, L/Cpl. D. Anaki (Auckland), E. Davis, H. Watkins (Napier) and Staff-Sergeant L. Sipley (Auckland) photographing and studying the display."
