Women players of the Takaro Croquet Club, Palmerston North, who won in the Inter Club matches run by Manawatu Croquet Association. The Croquet Section of the Takaro Bowling, Croquet and Tennis Club was thought to be formed in 1911, but it was not until the present lawns and bowling greens In Featherston Street, were laid down in 1922 that the Club was formed. Play began there in 1923.
