This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 20 August 1960 "Of particular interest to the residents of West End was the official opening today of this attractively-designed chapel, constructed in Huntly brick and built as a branch of the Queen Street Hall Brethren Assembly. It is situated on the corner of Kingston and London Streets in a large new residential area."
