Description

View from Maharahara Peak looking east into the Hawke's Bay region. The sister Matanginui Peak is visible on the left hand side, with the continuation of the Maharahara Peak Track flowing over it, which exits at Kumeti Road. This portion of the track has the largest, unbroken concentration of leatherwood trees in New Zealand.
