Description

This photograph is thought to depict the 55th jubilee celebration of Kaiparoro School, a single room school in North Wairarapa that was built in the 1894. The school closed in 1972 and the school building removed to Eketahuna School for use as the senior block. The school grounds were given to the district as compensation for not having a hall.
