"Health Stamps Sold in City"
- Description
This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 20 August 1960 "Four young girls with a single purpose today were Suzanne Smith (left), Ianthe Watford, Cheryl Graves and Rozea Stevens. Two hundred helpers in 53 cars were out early canvassing for the sale of health stamps in the city area. It is expected that sales this year will exceed those of last year. Girl Guides, Boy Scouts and the Boys' and Girls' Life Brigades assisted with the selling of the stamps."
