Local historians weekly "Back Issues" article in the Manawatū Standard. History of the 120 year old homestead on Massey campus grounds. The iconic house and gardens were bought by the New Zealand Government more than 70 years ago for use by neighbouring Massey College. A range of activities have been held at Wharerata over the decades.
