These plants were about three years, four months old and were to be cut by the side-leaf method for Mr Herman Seifert’s mill at Paiaka. From left: “F E” - Mr Fred Easton owner of Moutoa swamp; “J S” - unknown; “J B”- unknown; “H S” - Mr Herman Seifert farmer and flaxmiller.
