MacIntire Residence

Description

The MacIntire residence was located in Amesbury Street, Palmerston North. Shown in the photograph are (from left): Ann Raby, b 1888; Mrs Ada MacIntire nee MacDonald; John Philip, b 1889; Dr John MacIntire; Denis Lee, b 1894. Dr MacIntire worked as a surgeon at the Palmerston North Hospital and in later years as an anaesthetist. He was also surgeon to the Court Manawatu Oroua Lodge of Druids and Loyal Manawatu Lodge of Oddfellows.
