Meriam Findlay of the Manawatu Multi-Cultural Council helps to plant a "Kate Sheppard" camellia in the Esplanade Gardens. The occasion marked 125 years of women gaining the right to vote, and took place at the Esplanade Gardens in Palmerston North.
