Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 05 June 1961 "The frost today had many people wondering how far away the snow and ice was. Small boys in Memorial Park this morning were taking advantage of the holiday to see if any ice existed in the small lake. They hunted and poked around with sticks, but found nothing."
