An unidentified man speaks during the opening ceremony of the New Zealand National Special Olympics Summer Games held at the Manawatū Sports Stadium. The Games took place in Palmerston North between Friday 30 November and Sunday 2 December, with over 1250 atheletes participating. It is most likely that he is a representative of either Special Olympics New Zealand, the Rotary Club or the Manawatū Sports Foundation, all of whom were involved in organising the event.
